iCan Bike Camp
iCan Bike Camp is a nationally recognized program that helps individuals with special needs learn to ride a two-wheeled bicycle. Over five days, participants build skills in balance, self-starting, stopping, and independent riding. This camp takes place at the Minot Family YMCA and is open to adaptive participants ages 8 and up who meet specific physical and behavioral requirements.
A parent, legal guardian, or designated adult must remain on-site throughout each day’s 75-minute session. Participants must attend all five days of camp.

Additional Requirements:
• Must have a disability
• Able to sidestep to both sides
• Able to walk without assistive devices
• Maximum weight of 220 lbs.
• Minimum inseam of 20 inches (measured while wearing sneakers)
• Willing and able to wear a properly fitted bike helmet
• Parent/guardian must be present and willing to assist staff if needed
• Must attend all five days
iCan Bike Camp is held each summer, typically in July. Registration opens in spring and closes June 1.
