Adaptive Fishing Day
Adaptive Fishing Day is an annual summer event held at Van Hook, ND, open to adaptive participants ages 5 and up. Participants spend the day on the water learning to fish alongside experienced local anglers. Fishing takes place from boats or pontoons, with a power lift available if needed.
In addition to fishing, the event includes contests, prizes, and time to relax at the nearby beach, picnic shelter, volleyball court, and playground. Lunch is provided, and families are encouraged to bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen, bug spray, towels, swimsuits, camping chairs, and life jackets.
