Sled Hockey – Prairie Grit Wolves
Sled Hockey with the Prairie Grit Wolves is an adaptive hockey program designed for individuals with physical disabilities. Using specially designed sleds, athletes of all skill levels can participate in this fast-paced, competitive sport. Equipment is available for those who need it.
Adaptive Gymnastics with Gymagic
Adaptive Gymnastics at Gymagic Gymnastics provides a fun and supportive environment for athletes of all abilities to develop strength, coordination, and confidence. This program is one of our most popular offerings and is often the first step for athletes joining Prairie Grit Adaptive Sports. Participants will have the opportunity to learn and practice gymnastics skills with trained instructors. Additionally, gymnasts may have the chance to compete in the HUGS division of USA Gymnastics.
Adaptive Soccer
Adaptive Soccer Practices is a collaboration with the Minot Soccer Association and will take place at the North Dakota State Fair Grounds in the Commerical 1 Building on Mondays in May at 5:30 P.M. Games will take place on Thursdays at 5:30 P.M.
Adaptive Tennis
Adaptive Tennis at Hammond Park is designed for players of all skill levels with physical disabilities or limitations. With instruction from Minot High Tennis, participants will receive personalized coaching to improve their game in a supportive and inclusive environment. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, this program offers a great opportunity to develop skills, get exercise, and connect with others.
Wheelchair Basketball Camp
Wheelchair Basketball Camp is a three-day summer program at the Minot Family YMCA, open to adaptive participants ages 8 and up. Players of all skill levels are welcome, from beginners trying the sport for the first time to experienced athletes looking to sharpen their game.
