Prairie Grit Therapy recognizes haircuts might be difficult for some children due to the sometimes overwhelming tactile, auditory, and visual input that occurs. We help ease the anxiety and stress of the haircut experience by providing sensory, visual, and other supports. We adapt the environment as needed and have various tools and techniques to make this a “sensory friendly” experience for the child.
